Thanks to my teacher who got me digging up 60's music
:)
it's such a happy song!
And I have things to be happy about
Some of my tulips actually survived the squirrels
sadly though, they must have eaten all the other coloured ones
because only the pink ones are left
but I'm still happy
:)

Along with the tulips, one of my ornamental cabbages survived too
:)
I'd bought four at the garden centre
but.. haiz, three of them fell victim to the squirrels' digging
because they were next to the tulip bulbs
The little scoundrels got all my purple coloured cabbages
They're lucky i'm a buddhist.. grr

and....... now that it's spring, Christina got the clothes line out
yeay!
I haven't had a clothes line since.. I left Burma in 1992
It's nostalgic and exciting at the same time
I just love the smell of sun-kissed clothes
And how the sheets billow in the wind
:)

Last but not least, I finally completed decorating my little "altar"
:)
Pictures of people I love, postcards, presents, and the little antique weight (one of a set of 4) I bought in Mandalay in 1997
(which I was told was used to weigh cannabis (?) in olden days)
That picture of us was taken in 1997 too.. at the zoo i think
the last time all 13 of the cousins managed to get together

And the puppet Anil bought me from India becomes a female when it's turned upside down
haha
food for thought huh?
;P

Thanks for reminding me about this song. It's been a long time since I heard it.
Glad you're interested in 60s music. That makes another one.
Cheers,
Andy
Hi Mae,
The gawky flowers at Nottingham Queen's Park you took is the most colourful bunch I have seen. The image is now spreading mysteriously all over my screen. Love it. Makes my room more cheerful when I just leave the computer on.
Cheers,
Sir Andrew
