I'm not on a diet.. but I had no time to cook last night
cos I was busy trouble shooting Lightbox..
(I've had this template since 2003, about time I change it..)
and I have to finish that salad soon, like, yesterday...............
The Story

i know.. it's really really childish
But I can't help it
Ever since Day 2 of this job, I try as much as possible to pack lunch to work
I'm no longer fussy with food, but there's only so many times I want to eat permutations of prawn mayo, tuna mayo and chicken tikka on baguettes or baked potatoes
The first thing I miss about Asia is street food!!
Very often, it was also not inspiring cooking for one
I'm used to cooking for other people ..
I keep having left over veg and meat unless I want to eat the same food everyday
I have to regularly beg the chicken seller to give me a smaller chicken
sigh
And Loughborough isn't exactly Soho, and I'm almost always disappointed with the asian food in restaurants
so I have had to cook dishes I took for granted at home:
Chicken Rice, Wanton mee, Minced meat noodles, sushi, tepanyaki, roasted pork, burmese coconut noodles, monhinga, pratha, briyani...
the list is endless
That started me on food blogs .. to think of what to cook

I started scouring for a proper compartmentalised lunch box
But everything I found was either a bento box (i.e. cost 30 GBP) or had cartoons on it
and after hearing me whine about it for ..I don't know.. 1 month? 2?
Jas found a plastic compartmentalised box last week at Home Bargains
so she texted me and said she had a present for me
Apparently, it is my advanced birthday present .. -_-

har har, come and see to me. How much nice i cooked this eveing, really colourful with assorted vegs. I cooked every 3-4 days abd put in the fridge.
Lunch? well i eat in at hospital restaurant most time.
I dont have lunch box, a bit funny for me. I make sandwich or baguette myself which is 2 min job and wrapped with aluminium foil. You may notice some locals do similarly. At work, I put it in the fridge.
Stuffs inside? No fixed rules. Basic are mayonnaise and lettuce. others...i put whatever i want, including chillies as well :) Nobody knows
