it was a bitch trying to navigate the old town
i predictably got lost after going out the wrong exit
it didn't help that there was a small river running parallel to the Limmat river
but finally, i got directions from someone
the many cobbled streets are best explored on foot
this particular street is popular for its hanging balconies and chic street side cafes
the streets are crowded.. which reassures me that i was in the correct place
It's kinda sad how the finance district is just next to the old town
i'm sure these people rushing to appointments feel some wistful envy towards tourists
.. the way i do when i see tourists near my work place!
and then, i chanced upon a band performance
they were awesome.. the music they play is amazing
that was more or less the best part of my trip
when they left, another bus load of performers landed
and i was just really fascinated by their get up
so i hung around waiting for them to play..
an old man rests his tired feet beside a couple of band members
while passers-by talk animatedly in the background
a little oddity of a car
it is the result of a collaboration between a car company and Swatch
apparently, it's usually used for advertisement purposes..
and in this case, it's a giveaway for some event
