it's the first day of conference, and weather's been sucky
despite conference organisers giving us the afternoons off
we haven't been able to enjoy the sun and the sea
we'd had maybe, 10 minutes, of sun today
the beach is blanketed in a mist of water vapour almost all the time
and the white sand ends up looking like snow instead
3 more days in this place; i hope the sun shows up longer
this guy was really quite sweet
he kept feeding the birds until i got a shot
