Down memory lane - ECP 2009

always, between the choice of visiting a place and hanging out with my loved ones
i would choose people over adventure
but with east coast park, it's a unique combination of the two
i get to see a few of my dearest friends, indulge in a sport i love, and make new memories at a place i grew up with

and thankfully, unlike many of my other hangout places.. jp, clementi, ntu etc
it has stayed the same, for the most part

something old: The MacDonald's which has been there for as long as i rem

something new: the little painting stall for kiddies

something borrowed: The plate of oyster omelette that kern bought
as always, i ate only the starchy and egg-y bits

something blue: my blades.. bought in oct 2005 and abandoned for the past 14 months
i gave them to rae but she didn't use them once; the lazy girl

i took this sitting on the pavement after forcing my feet into my blades
hmm..
feet don't put on weight, do they?
:P

i was so inconfident my "guardian" had to pull me up and steady me
it actually took me a few minutes before i got used to my blades again..
i thought about blading in Loughborough
but i'd get killed just going downhill from my house
