Summer fruits & berries

for me, this is the most exciting thing about being in Loughborough in summer
wild berry bushes are everywhere
just on my way to work, there are rosehip bushes
(i've never tried to pick or eat them..)

wild raspberries grow just next to the office building
they're only small.. and jas tried one as i was taking pictures
and we concluded they were raspberries because she didnt die
heh~

i don't quite know what these are
but.. they grow just outside campus along Epinal Way

just before, i was sniffing at the miniature roses planted alonside
without getting off my bike (i know, i shouldn't have been so lazy)
predictably, i lost my balance and fell into the bushes!
hahah..

and here are some butter beans (?) from Steph's veg garden

and the berries that i actually eat
this was taken right where i enter the fields

i've gone berry hunting with jas and steph in the woods as well
and met people with huge woven baskets full of ripe blackberries in them
but no one thought to come here
so one sunday, on my way home, i picked a handful (two actually) of blackberries

plus plain yogurt, brown sugar, a freezer and constant stirring....
ta dahhh~
