Monochrome in motion (or not)

i'm told that i seem to be still exploring my photographic identity
but .. what if..
.. this was my photographic identity?
.. an eclectic mix ..
.. of colour vs black & white, vivid vs soft imagery, still life vs expressions

why cant i embrace all of these things.. altogether?

what if i don't want to be one-dimensional..
to be confined by a fixed definition?

I'm a child, I'm a mother
I'm a sinner, I'm a saint
I do not feel ashamed

even if i'm just an amateur, i only capture what i feel
and what i feel changes everyday.. or even within seconds
so why then, can't i, follow my heart?

photography is a pretty safe obsession
is it not?
