Remnants of World War II

This is another of my left over pictures
The campaigns struck me because they're all so poignant and pragmatic

It just gives me the impression that it was a very industrious time
Men went to war
Women took care of the families and cared for the infirm
Everyone had a purpose, a unified goal
Really different from how we are now...

Far right: Join the Wrens and free men for the Fleet
Even though they were only an auxilliary unit, many of these women lost their lives
It humbles me

And I think those who are left behind are more pitiful than the ones that die.
