Drowned forest

This is a left-over picture from Trentham Gardens.

"It is a lovely lake, and there is a drowned forest at the bottom of it. If you peer over the edge, you can see the trees all growing upsidedown, and they say that at night there are also drowned stars in it."

From "The little white bird" by J. M. Barrie

Nice. I fancy I have been here as a child in dreams and if you hide within bushes and brambles, you may notice Peter Pan fluttering about like a hummingbird lost in song.
Of course Wendy is not far away.
