The hole in my jeans..

i learnt a valuable lesson yesterday
.. that sometimes, you have to accept help, even from a complete stranger
because you have no other choice
If not for dear Beryl, I'd have passed out on the road

People were so amazingly kind ..
(well.. all except the driver who made me crash my bicycle; he/she drove away)
And the nurse at the clinic was so wonderful that half of my pain instantly went
away
I didn't at all feel as though I was in a foreign country among strangers
