Ulster Gliding Club

Pictures taken on the 9th of April

Tim belongs to the Ulster Gliding Club
which is nicely situated in front of the Binevenagh mountain
(I forgot the pronunciation for this one ...)

These were all "stolen" shots.. because my camera battery was on its last breath
Gliders parked in the airfield

When they asked me if I wanted to go up, I said why not
but fate intervened
because .. a storm started to rage and they had to cancel all flights
In Ireland, it actually rains
(unlike the miserly drizzles people call rain in England :P)

check out the sky behind this glider

The members rushing to store away the gliders in the hangar before the rain

Binevenagh mountain as we passed through the farms on our way home

I think it's an expensive hobby. I already have two that drain my pocket: Photography & travelling. So I'll pass for now. Thanks for the offer.
