Rounders in Birstall

I wasn't planning to play.. i didn't think it'd suit me
just a bit too sedate ..
(i'm looking forward to football tonight!!)
so i told the girls i'd be their chief cheerleader
as it turned out, Rounders was such a "little" game
even more sedate than i expected
i could very easily have played in my jeans!!

Birstall is a little village south of where i live
i didn't really know it existed, until we drove there for the try-outs
we did get to see some of it..
because we took the wrong turn on the way back..
haha

i was just basking in the sun..
i know the skies are nothing special
but oh.. 15 degree celsius!
bliss~

i was bored.. so i took pics of the players
but i don't think they'd appreciate being featured on a public blog

everyone was out in the sun

but as usual, i underestimated the changeability of british weather
and was freezing once the sun went down

i called home this morning, and it's pouring there
i havent seen a good heavy rain in 8 months!
the last time something came pouring down was hailstones 2 weekends ago
