i followed Jas (my colleague) and her sister on their dog-walking jaunt last weekend
it's a bit like trekking in bukit timah, but with less people
since i didn't have my own pet, it was fun to see Paddy having a good time sniffing and peeing at every tree/bush/lamp post, and basically enjoying himself
it's not far at all from where i live to reach the woods
here's the canopy; i'm just trigger happy cos i loved how quiet it was
A poisonous mushroom .. or so the girls tell me
it's a bad picture but i couldn't resist because it looks like one of those in a story book
we did a two hour walk.. passing through the fields into the woods, and then turning back into the fields and back into town
that tall building on the right(predictably called The Tower) is the only building i've seen that is taller than 3 storeys
really..
bales of hay!
i hope the sunny weather will hold out; i want to go walkabout again soon!
