My Singapore: The Water Fountain at Bugis Junction

it's a universal truth
children love to get wet.. with their clothes on

we were only walking around at Bugis Junction
but i couldn't resist taking these pictures
..
i really think i need to get a set of lens with better zoom....

Note: I did not manage to ask for permission from the families, so if your child is in this set of pictures, and you'd like me to take them down, please feel free to let me know.

A group of children frolic in the water as a young boy watches from the sidelines
i was awed by his self-control and the look of enjoyment on his face
he looked pleased as punch even though he didn't get to play

look how much fun they're having..
how they would have loved the burmese water festival!

A baby pokes her toe into the stream of the water

This little girl was so fascinating to watch
she was doing a regular dance which consisted of her:
1. inching towards the water jet
2. touching it tentatively
3. screaming murder and running away from the offending jet

here she is, almost zen-like in her exploration

A young girl tries to scoop a cup without getting her clothes wet
