My Singapore: The Riverside

Photos taken 3rd August 2008

I've been lugging a camera everywhere i went..
just because i finally have time to record the things that I like about my singapore

First on the list was Clarke Quay; i have spent the bulk of my past year there
one of my favourite things to do after work is to take a slow walk to city hall along the river
it clears my head, and gives me time to think
maybe the next time, i'll catch the sunset

Central.. as opposed to Central Mall, Central Square etc etc
they (URA??) obviously ran out of names
i will remember it for an incident in Jun 2007 (which involves a block of strawberry icecream), Japanese food, and wasabi chips at O'Briens

The Parliament House as seen from a pub on the riverside
.. where i had my citizenship "lessons"

The Riverside Point will be best remembered for being an empty shell of a landmark
more important, restaurants/bars like Indochine, my faithful back-up place, that Indo restaurant we frequent, Jumbo, Tandoor, Brewerkz.. etc etc
lol..
how fat do i sound?

This particular photo is inspired by a picture taken byRaena.

a boat takes tourists on a river cruise; i have never ever taken it before

bright white lights at the bridge
it has a formal name.. but ...

Special thanks to The Critic for suggestions and feedback.
