The city of canals

Last may, 4 girls from 3 different locations in Europe met at Schipol on a friday morning
for the next 4 days, they walked the streets of Amsterdam, drank in the sights and sounds and generally had a really good time

:)
It was one of the best holidays of my life

the famous clogs

and life sized ones
i bought a white furry pair which was very useful around the house this winter



the bicycles chained to a bridge
i can't rem exactly which bridge it was, but I know it was near Chinatown



a visit to Amsterdam wouldn't be complete without a river cruise
but i only got one passable picture; i was obscured by the rails



this little duck seemed oblivious to the perpetual commotion in the party city
it was snoozing by the canal as we trooped past
