Two

and just like that, two years have gone by in a flash
i've learnt many lessons, yet there are more to come
there've been changes; some anticipiated, some unexpected
i've gained some friends, and lost a few
i'm not quite home, but i'm closer to my family than ever before
not everything's quite gone the way i planned (least of all the exchange rates!)
but we all ride on the waves of life ..

most of all though, i've learnt that i can depend on myself
that.. i was stronger than i thought i was

i don't quite know where i'll be next
...
for the moment at least, i'm busy, and content
and whatever comes, i know i'll be alright
