It was a Friday morning when we embarked on our drive up to Grasmere
After about 4 hours (which included lunch and shopping for Dave's shoes.. because between Erin, and him, they forgot to bring his hiking shoes!).. we passed through Windermere
where we crossed the lake on a ferry.. to get to Grasmere
I took these pictures from the car..
It cost us 4 quid to cross
