Glasgow West End

Apparently, the West End is the green part of Glasgow
After working for a bit (as usual, i hadn't prepared my presentation)
I left the hostel to hunt for dinner
the map the receptionisht gave me was hand drawn
and i predictably took the wrong turn (haha.. blame it on her!)

but it was all good.. cos i found my little minar .. chirping away
i like to believe it was calling out to its friends

i walked along a bridge that crosses the River Kelvin
it was peaceful.. yet i felt safe

It was still a bit early (and summer light was going to last til 830)
so i decided to take a walk
this shop enticed me because its name was papyrus

I love these ornate churches; i didnt go in because there was a congregation

I thought this was another church too.. until i saw the menu outside the gate
It is called the Oran Mor, and it was to become quite familiar over my stay
We had to pass it everyday we walked from the hostel to the Uni

I got back to my room at 830 and these floweres welcomed me back
