Portstewart Strand

It was Christina's birthday, so Tim and Elizabeth drove us to Portstewart Strand
So that she can have a swim
Elizabeth is an amazing driver
and with all that hilly terrain, it felt like a roller coaster ride
:D

Portstewart was my next favourite place after the North Coast
Even though the beach was not spectacular, the sand dunes made it special
so the first thing I did was climb up to the top of the dunes
(in my boots again)
and i think I sprained a ligament somewhere because it was steep and the sand kept sliding

I couldn't go too far because C was in the sea and I was holding the car keys
the other two had gone off on a date :)

it wasn't a great day for taking pictures; the sky was overcast most of the time
I was just glad the sun came out when it did

it was Easter Sunday, so everyone wanted to eat ice cream
(we did too, for almost everyday of our stay in Ireland
i'd eaten enough ice cream to last me for 6 months!)

I know it's a bit silly of me.. but it was the first time i've been to a "drive-in" beach
I was also surprised when these young guys racing along the beach tried to pick me up
They must be only in their late teens..
Irish men are just too flirtatious
