Everyday things

i'd just woken up on the 26th of march
and saw the reflection of my ceiling light in my mirror
i think i might miss this cosy little room when i move on

on the left is a tub of expensive lotion i bought at Victoria Shopping Centre
on the day I sent my parents off after their vacation
in my defence, I can only say i was feeling particularly lonely
to let that salesman convince me into shelling out that much money

those sunglasses on the right are essential for surviving the glare in this country
this is the spare pair that lives in the ikea mug on my shelf

i took this picture (with my SE) for an abstract so I can go to Glasgow in July

i'd been working at home last wed
because .. shamefully, my thighs were super sore
i suppose cycling uphill doesn't equate to cooling down
and i guess i was overestimating myself when i did that two days in a row

but it gave me the opportunity to eat whilst i worked,
(Pickled tea leave salad and rice!! :) )
make some really pressing phone calls
and enjoy the hues of blue gradually creeping up into the skies
over the backyard garden

I spent the last 3 hours looking everywhere for my spare SD cards
in preparation for the next 4 days in Belfast
I checked the camera bag a thousand times, backpacks, jacket pockets etc
turned out i'd already packed them in the spare lens bag
aaaaaagh!

right now, the easter egg for our host
and the camera kit is taking up two thirds of my cabin bag
the egg, in its box, is humongous, and makes me full just thinking about it

there's just no more space to fit any warm clothing....
fingers crossed the weather will be mild

easter break
yeay!!
if things go well, i'll actually have a chance to clear my leave
and won't be back at work til the 20th of May
