I loved everything about Barcelona ..the food, the atmosphere, the quirks
.. which includes little fake pets
this wasn't even a tourist gimmick!
i loved the 'strange' architecture..
the palm trees dotting downtown roads
it was my favourite part of the holiday

a public drinking fountain in downtown
i thought it really quaint..
i mean, how many places still have public drinking fountains?

this photo is of a subway station (Catalunya i think)..
i love the engraving on the wall
as with all stations in barcelona, there're stores selling everything from food to clothing to bags (right hand bottom corner)
i bought a set of gloves and a scarf there
the sad thing though is that .. the bags on the left belong to homeless people
i have never seen that many homeless people in one place before
:(
in La Rambla, they also sell anything from pets to flowers
i made loads of attempts to photograph the birds
but it just doesn't seem right when they're all in cages
a small second-hand book shop in the art market
oh.. one thing i hated about Barcelona
was its spanish indian shopowners who sell sovenirs
they absolutely harrass people..
we got so terrified we stopped going into the shops altogether
and i only bought ONE souvenir in total which is a pink t-shirt
