Birmingham, City of Canals (and water fowl)

Pictures taken on 5th March with Nokia E65
-_-
i didn't think there would be anything interesting
so i didn't even take out my SE

after passing through twice, I finally made it in to Birmingham
and it surprised me.. cos it wasn't quite the dreary industrial town i was expecting
our hotel was 5 mins from the Mailbox, apparently the nicest area in town

Birmingham has the world's largest canal system
!!
(the water was kinda high and dirty though.........)

we reached at 2pm.. and did a circuit of the pubs before Ma Maison
since i sat at the "unofficial" table, we quickly got business out of the way
i got to eat two deserts too!
:)))

after dinner, we continued on to celebrate (the human) Paddy's birthday
and i actually managed to stay up that late
O_o
we had oodles of fun (even if we barely made it to the meeting the next day)
the best RA meet to date :)

and of cos it was a learning experience in itself to walk up and down those cobbled stone briges on heels..

Just found out it can do cut and paste text ... 2 year late, haha...
