The way to campus

All photos taken sneakily with my SE

Weather has been beautiful in the mornings
and then, it kinda turns monstrous towards late afternoon
not so much the rain.. but the wind is just too strong for my filmsy umbrella
i foresee it breaking really soon

anyway... it's about half hour's walk in good weather
and when it's wet (which it is for the past two evenings), about 35 minutes
if i'm early enough, i'll see droves of school children rushing to school in the opposite direction

here's the view 2 mins after i walk out of the gate
there're some distant hills on the southern side

the very first downslope..
i'm so unfit sometimes i find it all a bit tiring
ha

here's one of my favourite little houses
though it's quite typical for almost every house to have flowers in bloom in summer

this is the mid-point between my house and the campus
that's a rose bush in the foreground!
one of my favourite things to see..

and there're also many wild berry bushes along the cycling path (shortcut)
i think these are cherry tomatoes..
but i'm not too sure

and here it is.. the Wolfson School of Mechanical & Manufacturing
the glass thingy is the central staircase
i'm at the right hand side of the top floor
labs on the left handside on the same floor and canteen (with only sandwiches/microwave meals) on the ground floor on the left end

yesterday, as i walked from my lab to Personnel, a busy squirrel crossed the road from the pitch to the trees
on my way back, i saw another one (or maybe the same one) do it again
i'm fascinated
