the first night, all i could do was take shots from my hotel room
.. cos my beloved friends didn't turn up to meet me!
Sunday night, i had someone keep me company to walk around town
but we didn't make it to the pagoda in time before it closed for the night
finally, on monday night, dressed appropriately in a sarong, i went there for prayers
we met a german tourist there who told me he's been to burma 3 times
and travelled more places around the country than i have
O_o
it was very humbling
